Holly Jolly

Karen Carpenter was right, there’s no place like home for the holidays. This was our first Christmas back in our home state, after five years introverting in Montana. Even more notably, it was Little Man’s very first Christmas with extended family.

Christmas caroling at a memory care unit with homeschool pals…

Driving through a local light display in a one-pickup-truck open sleigh…

Wrapping presents with my seesters…

(husband was particularly blessed by the glitter paper)

The season has been fun, and hectic, and magical, and simple, and still reverent– a lovely celebration of the birth of our Savior.

White Christmas…

Christmas Eve at Nana’s…

Christmas jammies…

Christmas day at Papa & Grandma’s…

ringing the christmas brunch bell

Today we’re letting the decorations linger, enjoying the calm, and writing out a bushel of thank-you cards. Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Joy to the world, the Savoir reigns!
