October 7th. A day that (for our family) will live in infamy:
At four thirty, the phone rang…
It was our agency.
It was THE call.
IT’S A BOY!
We are overjoyed to announce that we have officially been matched with our new SON from China.
He is ridiculously adorable. Already, we are smitten– and biased.
He is 14 months old and chubbalicious.
As expected, we’re still about six months away from being able to bring him home.
The wait just got, like, a zillion times harder.
In case you’re curious what the girls think about having a little brother, a picture is worth a thousand words. (And this is the only one that didn’t turn out blurry since they were jumping up and down nonstop for about an hour.)
“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” (1 Samuel 1:27-28)
