This Little Stinker’s latest new thing: responding with a drawn-out “whhhhhhyyyyyyy” after everything we say. Like, with a fermata on it. It’s actually adorable.

Weather has been amazing, so we’ve spent time outdoors with the neighbors whom we are taking with us when we move.

His favorite song was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star… until I switched the lyrics to Baa Baa Black Sheep, in the same melody. He thinks it’s a song about his daddy [Baba].

I’m terrified to jinx it, but he’s actually starting to sleep! It’s a miracle. Because, honestly…

The girls are loving their new sub-unit on Herpetology (the study of reptiles and amphibians– who knew??) and enjoyed a recent field trip to the local aquarium retailer.

I stole borrowed this fun activity from a homeschool blogger, an “attention to detail” exercise: Load a tray with 25 random items, present to the kiddos for 10 seconds, then have them list all they can remember.

We found Mom wasn’t much better at it than the grade-schoolers when the girls took their turns moderating.

Speaking of mom…

It’s actually kind of the opposite for me, as I awaken more with each precious drop of coffee.
