In a car, on a boat, with a goat, in the rain, on a train, in the dark, in a tree, in a box, with a fox, in a house, or with a mouse… whenever I can help it, we’re reading.
Here are a few titles we’ve recently enjoyed:
this was delightfully nostalgic, funny, and relatable book #2 of the dystopian YA Legend Series sobbed my way through the final Anne book aloud to the kids loved this motivational nonfiction aloud to Little Man (already read it to the girls, year ago), we made it extra fun by popping a chocolate chip in his mouth each time we read the word “chocolate” he loved George’s Marvelous Medicine and decided to concoct his own book #3 of the Legend series
this humble novel might’ve been my favorite read in a year kids loved this celebrity memoir my stepmom recommended this alternate-reality YA based on the premise of US monarchy Little Man alphabetized his collection then read the whole lot
loved this witty nerd-word tome another juicy celebrity memoir re-read this (unabridged, exceedingly long) class aloud, in preparation for the new film… … which these three little women positively adored. incredibly encouraging homeschool inspo read this aloud in my best West Virginian accent to Little Man
the girls loved this graphic novel, and followed it with the film yet another fun celeb memoir
and book #4 in the Legend series
