In my What To Read Wednesday post all about tigers, I mentioned my family pet a baby tiger cub recently… but then it dawned on me I never shared the photos! The West Coast Game Park is a true Oregon treasure, though many locals have never even heard of the wildlife sanctuary that boasts an unforgettable, hands-on experience with the inhabitants. (An ideal field trip to further flesh out our zoology studies!)
I first visited the park while husband was deployed overseas, before we had children. Husband and I then went back with toddler Firstborn who displayed an affinity for furry friends almost from birth. Our recent visit was an absolute delight for the whole family, cementing out our Zoology studies via unforgettable proximity and tactile learning.
Located in Bandon on the southern Oregon coast, it’s affordable and always worth the stop. Add the West Coast Game Park to your Oregon bucket list– you won’t be disappointed!
