This week’s What to Read Wednesday installment is all about families.
Our favorite books on family include classics such as: The industrious pioneer family Ingalls of the Little House series, the island survivalists of the Swiss Family Robinson, the four devoted sisters of Little Women, and the adventures four siblings in The Chronicles of Narnia. For picture books we adore the precocious shenanigans of brother and sister duo Charlie & Lola (which are only properly read aloud with an exaggerated lilting British accent).
But ours is a family shaped by adoption, so I’d be remiss not to mention books on adoption, birth families, and Chinese culture as our broader understanding of family… which our home library reflects.
And now for the link up!
Our hosts will still share a themed selection of our favorite books each week.
By linking up you agree that if your blog post is selected to be featured on any of our hosts’ blogs that we can use an image from your post with a link back to your post.
This list has our book themes, but you don’t have to stick to that to link up–any family-friendly posts are welcome. So, come on! Join in the fun!
