What to Read Wednesday: Horse Lit Edition

This week’s What to Read Wednesday collab is geared around horses. I confess that thus far the only horse-centric book I’ve read aloud to the kiddos is Black Beauty– a terribly depressing tale that in my estimation only Debbie Downer would enjoy.

One might recall my girls learn all about horses at 4-H, because I have so little personal experience with the majestic creatures myself and unashamedly broker it out to the experts. Consequently, this week I’m a student myself– with pen & paper in hand I’ll be noting recommends from my co-hosts linked below who’ll surely have some great titles to share, adding to my never-ending queue. #bibliophileproblems

Friends, help a girl out: If you’ve got a beloved horse-themed tale please enlighten me by chiming in the comment section, below!

Barnes & Noble’s list of horse-themed lit is ripe with options, and I’ve decided to heed their advice and add The Black Stallion to our personal library.
