Cousin Camp

This week my mom, sister, and three nieces drove out from Oregon for some extended family togetheness.

We fondly referred to our time together as Cousin Camp, as it was jam-packed with adventure, bonding, and general kumbaya…

We had a blast showing them around our region, enjoying much of Big Sky Country’s great outdoors.

Our guests enjoyed their first trip to Jellystone, and crossed an additional new state (Wyoming) off their list.

But, as is often the case, our favorite moments were the unscripted ones.

an added delight was them being here for center sister’s birthday. we started her day with an impromptu breakfast tea party, complete with fancy clothes, make-up, and wedding china.

I feel I must switch back to color for these last three photographs:

They brought me my favorite food on the planet…

Oregon strawberries

… and we showed them how to eat like Montanans.

Heeding Bestie Christy’s example, this is how we greeted our guests upon arrival.

Cousin Camp 2015 was a unanimous success.
