We had the simplest, Covid-compliant birthday celebration for Little Man recently. He turned eight, and (like pretty much every boy his age) all he wanted to do to celebrate was eat pizza and play video games.

Sporting masks, we zipped over to a nearby pizza parlor/arcade for the easiest birthday party ever– just grateful they were open. We sanitized our hands regularly but basically had the place to ourselves.

We are so proud of this little gamer and amazed at how he’s grown over the past year. It’s a delight being his parents. Being eight is pretty great!
