Aaaaand not that you asked, but MY all-time favorite is Where the Red Fern Grows. First read at the tender age of 11, it’s the first book I recall really imprinting me– the first book I ugly cried over.
Other favorites (like Besties, I have a whole bunch): The Hobbit, Of Mice and Men, Radical, Tuck Everlasting, and The Red Tent.
